Advocacy

The early learning industry is unique, our industry is governed by laws, rules, regulations, administrative code, and agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. FACCM has a full-time advocacy team made up of owners, directors, lobbyists, and advocates who work to educate and energize seasoned and newly elected rule, law, and policy makers on the importance of early learning and fully funding our programs to serve the needs of our youngest citizens. In addition to our work with the legislative and executive branches of government, FACCM is also a partner in the early learning community. We are a member of the Early Learning Consortium, a coalition of early learning stakeholders who work together on common issues for a greater impact. FACCM is also a founding member of the Florida Early Learning Disaster Relief Fund, an initiative to help early learning programs get back to business and serve families when disaster strikes.
