Transparent. Results Orientated. Leadership.
Dear Members,These are more than just words to the FACCM Board and Staff. These words reflect our vision for the future of FACCM and our mission to be the leader of the Early Learning Industry. I transitioned into my new role as President in July 2014 and wanted to ensure our renewed vision of transparency, being a results oriented and guided organization, and having a strong leadership team in place as we head into a new era of educating our Legislative leaders on the importance of early learning. FACCM has played an important role in shaping state policy in Tallahassee. We have a long way to go with many items on the ever growing to-do list, but with these three guiding principles I know, together, we will accomplish great things.
Transparency will drive FACCM's organizational success. With an aligned board, clear vision, and a goal driven mission, we continue to strive for transparency in all aspects of FACCM. By increasing communication to members, we can explain the big picture and the implications of decisions made by legislators and regulators. This will energize our members to engage in our grassroots advocacy approach. We continue to add new mechanisms, such as forums, surveys, invitations to local events and board meetings, and numerous ways to thoughtfully and frequently ask for members' feedback. Results Orientated.
