FACCM Welcomes a New Executive Director13-Aug-2018
August 13, 2018
FACCM is pleased to announce Lee Bell as the new Executive Director. Lee was chosen from over 800 candidates in a statewide executive search that took place over the past 3 months.
Lee has built a career out of transforming businesses and organizations. He brings a great mix of experience in various high-level management positions, a track record of success, operational excellence, and a passion for supporting and building a vibrant membership organization.
For the past four years, Lee has served as the President and CEO of the Greater Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce, serving the northern parts of Tampa Bay and Hillsborough County. Prior to the Chamber, Lee founded and operated a multi-million dollar staffing, recruiting, and human resource business until he sold it. Lee also held various leadership roles for 20 years with Ashland Chemical, a $2.7 billion division of Ashland, Inc.
Lee joins us with the unique perspective of a small-business owner who understands the day-to-day challenges of running a business as well as the knowledge of working in a highly regulated industry (i.e. chemicals and environmental services). “There couldn’t be a better time to hire someone like Lee, and I’m excited we were able to attract such impressive talent”, said Roy Keister, FACCM President.
Lee will be starting with FACCM on August 20, 2018, please join us in welcoming him.
